Description
A pair of attractive Roman glass bottles, 1st - 2nd Century AD, both in near colorless glass, each with ovoid body and long cylindrical neck with constricted base the mouth flared with inward folded rim. H: 4 3/8 in (11.1 cm) & 3 1/4 in (8.3 cm). Each is in nice condition with attractive iridescence. The larger: Ex Malter Galleries, Encino, CA (June 1977); Other: Ex Francis Rath, Youngstown, NY (Aug. 1977).
