Description
A pair of lovely Roman glass bottles, 1st - 2nd Century AD, the first with piriform body, the long tubular neck with flattened rim, the surfaces with nice iridescence and vertical waved textured band. A very handsome bottle. H: 4 1/2 in (11.4 cm). The second in blue-green glass with small piriform body with thick base and long narrowing neck with flattened rim. H: 4 1/2 in (11.4 cm). Well-preserved with gorgeous iridescence. Ex Superior Stamp and Coin, (Feb. 1973) and (Mar. 1974).
