Antique Chinese Yao Zhou ware bowl, with dragon motif. Sturdy porcelain bowl with robust cavetto region curving into a feminine wall that extends all the way to the gallery mouth rim the raised circular base. The exterior is adorned with a domineering serpentine Dragon that is coated distinct underglaze. Dragon is the symbol of the Emperor, the Son of Heaven, eternity, Yang and Yin, male vigor and fecundity. The immaculate porcelain body covered with a characteristic silky glaze. The olive brown glaze terminates above the foot, revealed the orange brownish ground clay.
