Divine Qianlong enameled Chinese porcelain bottle vase. Defined bulbous body, tapered gracefully toward tall cylindrical straight neck, raised upon a circular foot-base. The exterior reserved in monochrome Red underglaze ground, while the interior, outer rim, and neck ring remain white underglaze. A windblown cherry blossom tree is masterfully depicted along the vase surface. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous craftsman.
Mark on base, a six blue underglaze seal script -ZhuanShu- characters reign mark, QianLong Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty.
Dimensions: 12-1/4" H x 6-1/8" Diam.
Stand: 1-3/4" H

From Private estate collections of Mrs. Ilene A. Champeau, (1943-present), For over 35 years, she shared her love of history as the owner of Victorian Lady Antiques. She also spent several years teaching a course in Antique Collecting at Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton. She always loved sharing her knowledge with anyone who was interested. Her collection and knowledge of Native American and Chinese artifacts was extensive the wealth of her information will be missed by many. These items consigned are From the heirs of Irene Champeau as part of the settlement of the estate. Proceeds will benefit charities specified in her will.
