Printer’s device on title pages, woodcut initials and ornaments. Signature of two previous owner: first contemporary ‘Aloysius Bellorus’, second by ‘Iacopo Virgìlio’ dated 1876. Some spots on the first and last leaves. Good copy.

Famous work on Mediterranean maritime law. Extended edition by Giovanni Battista Pederzano, whose name appears in the dedication. The second part contains "the addition of the Ordinationi over the armies of sea, safety, entrances, exits; & with the Portolano del mare.
