Description
North America, Hawaiian Islands, ca. late 20th to early 21st century CE, made by Hawaiian wood-turner Christopher Allen. A beautiful lathe-turned bowl made from caramel-hued mango wood with a flat base, gradually-expanding walls, a deep interior basin, and a thick rim. The lustrous sheen is brought forth through a meticulous polishing process and aids in amplifying the sumptuous colors of the natural wood grain. Size: 6.125" W x 4.25" H (15.6 cm x 10.8 cm).
