A large Chinese celadon vase with a wooden stand and dating from the 18th century. The vase has beast handles and blue and white quatrefoils depicting landscapes on the neck and roundels of landscapes with figures on the body. There is a Shou medallion border between the neck and border, a Greek key border at the foot.

Dimensions are: 20 1/2 inches tall X 11 1/2 inches wide. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: It has minor surface abrasions and wear, and the handles have been cut.

Provenance: Acquired in Beijing in the 1970s and 1980s.
