DESCRIPTION: A collection of three large Pre-Columbian Chimu, copper Tumi ceremonial knives. Each features traditional flattened forms with domed blades along the ends. The smallest knife has a small amount of fabric remnants. These items have been appraised and authenticated by Carol Damian, Master of Art in Pre-Columbian Art History from the University of Miami, with an array of professional academic experience in the field of Pre-Columbian art such as Assistant Professor of Art History at Florida International University, Special Consultant of Pre Columbian Art at the Lowe Art Museum, and Special Consultant at the Consulate of Peru.
