Map showing Texas to 103 degrees west. Ft. Duncan in Kinney Co. is farthest west placename. Other forts, towns, counties, topo., battlefield markers, etc. Scarce school atlas map of Texas shortly after statehood with emphasis on river systems, forts and settlements. Does not show the full Rio Grande del Norte, as there is only a fort or two west of 100 degrees west longitude. Map cuts off at 103 degrees west. Early map of the state of Texas with less than half of it settled at all. Overall light browning, or as some dealers call it: â€œage-tonedâ€.
