Marc Chagall (1887-1985) Attributed: Signed drawing dated 1968. Gouache watercolor and black ink drawing executed on the half-title page of The World of Marc Chagall published in 1968. Signed dated and inscribed Pour Frederic en bon souvenir. Excellent condition (hinge remnants from prior framing on reverse). Currently unframed for inspection and shipping.

This drawing/painting is an entire finished work of art combining many elements and rendered in diverse complementary media. The composition is coherent and masterful and stylistically fits within Chagall's vocabulary of dreamlike imagery. It is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity/attribution by painting conservator/art historian Bruce Wood MFA.
