22 color plates from woodblocks, in an accordion album. 33.5x30.5 cm (13¼x12"), front cover board covered with cloth with paper label (no rear board).
A striking pictorial tour of what is now Japan's third largest city, with many depictions of festivals. A pencil note in English reads "Painted on fans which are taken out of their frames by Gyokusan". There are penciled captions in English in the margin of each plate.
Condition
Front cover cloth worn, chipped and lifted; internally very good, with bright color woodblocks.
