Condition
All four argand lamps are electrified and are lacking all burner parts.
One double-arm lamp has a related, but different, cast standard, and the shades are later reproductions.
On the other three lamps, the cages are lacking, so to keep the shades stable, they have been partially
glued to the bronze bobeches. The same lamp shades have minute "fleabite" chips and scattered nicks to
shade fitter rims. Bronze arms and standards exhibit minor rubbing, scratches and abrasions as are to be
expected with age and use.
NOTE: The smallest width (single-arm lamps) is 12", not 9-1/2", and the widest width (double-arm lamps
) with shades on is 18", not 9-1/2" to 14-1/2" as stated in the catalogue.
