Pair of Patinated Bronze Argand Lamps, Attributed to Cornelius
second quarter 19th century, Philadelphia, with Gothic paneled bases and urn-form fonts with cone-form finials, the arms with pierced scrollwork crests, set with cut and frosted glass shades of a later date.

Condition
Both are in very good condition. No sign of damage. They are authentic, but now wired and converted to electricity. The shades are new. The lamps have a very pleasing overall patina to their surface.
