Description
A group of 4 Roman terra sigillata pottery fragments, North Africa, c. 4th - 5th Century AD, one depicting two Erote rowing a boat, two with laurel leaves flanking a bird and the last rosettes and parallel ridges. Largest: 3 x 1 1/4 in (8 x 3.2 cm). Each nicely detailed with light deposits. Ex Royal Athena Galleries, New York; Ex German private collection.
