Adalbert Johann Volk (American, 1828-1912), (2) etchings to include Stonewall Jackson, measures 4-3/4" x 4" plate, framed size 10-1/2" x 9-5/8", and Abraham Lincoln as Don Quixote with Benjamin Butler as Sancho Panza, measures 6-1/4" x 7-1/4" plate, framed size 11-1/2" x 12-1/2", both in good condition, Volk was a Confederate artist and cartoonist during the Civil War and assisted the Confederate cause by producing etchings and drawings that villified the Union army and heroized the soldiers for the South
