A PAIR OF WEIMAR CLASSICIST STYLE PARCEL GILT POLYCHROME BISQUE BUSTS, LATE 19TH CENTURY, GERMANY, the "Schiller" bust after Johann Heinrich von Dannecker (German 1758-1841), height: 12 3/4", diameter: 6 1/2"; and the "Goethe" bust after Christian Daniel Rauch (German 1777-1857), height: 12 1/2", diameter: 6 1/2, both impressed with numbers 3 and 1887, and bearing a gilt painted number 42.

Condition

A firing crack near Schiller's neckline, some mild expected surface wear and occasional spots, but overall in very good condition, wear commensurate with age and use.
