A GROUP OF FOUR CONTINENTAL ENAMELED GILT METAL BUD VASES, 19TH/20TH CENTURY, in the French taste, consisting of a pair of green ground bases with a male and female figure in 18th century dress, height: 3", diameter: 1 /38"; a purple ground example with parcel gilt and enameled holly leaves and jeweled berries, signed T. Adam, height: 2 1/2", diameter: 1 1/2"; and the largest with a peach ground centering a figure resembling Shakespeare in traditional English Renaissance dress in landscape, opposed by a castle on a lake, height: 3 1/2", diameter: 1 3/4".
Condition
Some wear on the interiors, very mild surface wear, and patina, but overall in very good condition, wear commensurate with age and use.
