A SET OF SIX ROCOCO REVIVAL MAHOGANY TUFTED BACK DINING CHAIRS, MID-LATE 20TH CENTURY, in the Italian taste, the pierced arched flower bud and acanthus leaf crest, above a shell fan, within molded rails and canted, pierced acanthus leaf scrolled ears, over a shield form, button tufted back, above bowed seats, within bowed arms with upholstered arm rests, ending in scrolled hand terminals, raised on leaf and scroll carved cabriole legs, ending in scrolled feet, joined by a dramatically arched skirt, with lattice details, centering a carved shell fan within flower buds, blooms and pierced leafy scrolls; consisting of two fauteuils and four side chairs, covered in cream damask upholstery, the seats with matching removable covers with twist rope and tassel ornamented ties, fauteuils- height: 41", width: 24 1/2", depth: 21"; side chairs- height: 41", width: 21 1/2", depth: 9".
