An odd literary flowering in the embattled Confederacy. Parrish & Willingham attribute actual authorship to Julian H.C. Fane and Edward R. Bulwer-Lytton. S.H. Goetzel produced a number of fictional works during the war. All Confederate literature is quite scarce.
Condition
Wrappers worn with printing affected; spine chipped; corners creased; uniform toning; very good.
