BRITISH HISTORICAL PERIODICAL VOLUME, Sylvanus Urban, "The Gentleman's Magazine, and Historical Chronicle: Volume XLV, For the Year M.DCCLXXV", 1775, printed for D. Henry, London, with several engraved plates, some fold-out maps/charts, including "A Plan of the Town and Chart of the Harbour of Boston" and "A Map of 100 Miles around Boston", two different bookplates to front endpapers, leather boards and ribbed spine having red label with gilt lettering.
Fair to good condition overall, moderate wear and some losses to boards/spine, particularly to edges/corners, some stains, spine joints worn through exposing binding, but binding still intact, interior with moderate toning throughout, some staining, particularly to pastedowns/endpapers, some pencil notations, fold-out maps with expected toning along fold-lines, and some reverse image discoloration, "A Plan of the Town. . ." example with 3 1/2" L tear from one edge running partly into map image, one plate likely removed between pages 448 and 449 (UPDATED 6/21/18).
