The Tudor Reference 7928 is perhaps one of the most classic Tudor sports models. It saw a long production run from approximately 1959 to 1968. With such a long production span many Iterations of the 7928/0 reference are out there.
Just like all Submariners from the 1960s, they are becoming increasingly harder to find. Especially examples like this Tudor with appealing original dial and lume.
The dial is simply mint and that ever so important matching all over patina is present. From the original tritium hands to the big crown to the asymmetrical sized crown guards and original Tropic 19 crystal this watch has it all!
The only part that has been replaced it the Bezel insert, which give the watch a fresh look.
The case back is stamped VI.66 and the 5.9 Mil serial all match up. The only downside is that the case back has eaten some of the cases threads so it’s not as much as a tight fit, something that could be remedied by an expert watch smith but we rather leave it as is and conserve the 100% untouched look.
