From the world-renowned Black Jurassic oil-bearing shale of Holzmaden, Germany comes this exquisitely preserved slab filled with numerous small ammonites and bivalves, and featuring a giant Harpoceras ammonite preserved in a thick, lustrous golden pyrite. Specimens like this are seldom discovered at this highly unique formation famous for producing some of the world's finest Jurassic marine life fossils.
