A Captivating Chinese Ge porcelain tripod censer. Large Globular body fashioned with two long C-Shaped handles flanked on both sides of the upper rim. Distinctive Ge crackled glaze also known as jinsitiexian which translates to mean gold floss and iron thread which details the look of several lines that appear in the crackled surface. The color is harmonious, elegant and exquisite. The whole piece is raised three short tripod legs which. The glaze terminates just before the end of each leg. This piece displays a subtle sheen as the light ricochets across the polished exterior.


Mark on base, a six underglaze blue seal script -ZhuanShu- characters reign mark, QianLong Reign Period of Great Qing.
