Shakudo with gold. Japan, Edo period
Two pairs of shakudo menuki; the first depicting two branches of sansho nuts (Japanese Pepper Tree) fully covered with gold overlays; the second formed as blossoming peonies decorated in gold details. Both unsigned.
Condition: Wear consistent with age and use, worn patina - overall good condition
Provenance: From a Hungarian private collection
