Description
Extraordinary surrealist souvenir pencil drawing, Manichino, executed on the title page of "12 Opere Di Giorgio De Chirico." Signed (Giorgio de Chirico*, 1888-1978). 14 7/8 x 11 1/8 inches. Very good condition, some paper toning along the four edges, probably the result of the drawing remaining in its original bound book before being removed for framing at a later time. Currently unframed for inspection and shipping.
Provenance: Believed to have been acquired by the consignor's family from Dr. Harry Blackwood, London, sometime after 1970.
