Description
A set of twelve Russian silver-gilt and shaded cloisonne enamel teaspoons, Feodor Ruckert, Moscow, circa 1908-1917. In Russian Revival taste, the spoons in traditional 16th-century form, the reverse of each round bowl is brightly enameled with shaded polychrome stylized flower-heads against a white ground with wirework coils; the handles are wrapped with spirals of green, blue and pink enamel. Struck with maker's mark and 84 silver standard. Gross weight of set: 185 grams. Length: 4 in. (10.2 cm).
Condition
Excellent antique condition. Some minimal wear consistent with age and use.
