**Originally Listed At $250**

Magna Graecia, South Italy Campania, ca. 4th century BCE. A sweet blackware pottery vessel of a bulbous form with a ring handle attached to the shoulder, a cylindrical neck, flared rim with downturned stepped lip. The piece was intended to be blackware; however it was misfired resulting in some reddish hues - in actuality a happy accident, as the black and red hues complement one another quite nicely. Provenance: private Orange County, California collection, acquired before 2000
