There is an other red color, probably more recent, dating back to the first three decades of 1500 thanks to a paleographic dating of note at X5 recto.4to (210 x 150mm). Printer's device at the verso of the last folio, unpainted minor woodcut initials, some initial painted in red, eg. to quire R, marginalia, guide-letters, haf-title at 1 recto, colophon at hh10v, gothic writing, 51 lines of text on two columns as follows (1-4)8 a-[s lunga]8 s-z8 [et]8 [con]8 [rum]8 A-Z8 aa-gg8 hh10 AA-DD8 EE4 (lacking quires (5-8)8 and a10 and leaves g6 and V7, from AA the upper margin are cropped and this affects the text at the top, some brown stains at the edges, light spotting, some browning, some soiling, light signs of woodworm at the edges in contact with the boards, some faces of the woodcuts characters are darkened, probably due to the ferrous component of the burnt sienna and the lead of the white lead). Quarter calf with wooden imitation cardboard and spine in bordeaux leather with three nerves, probably in imitation of the original binding (lightly rubbed, some signs of woodworm, more evident rubbing at the spine and at the headcap). Provenance: many handwritten notes of which one relevant at 1 verso, from different hands (XV-XVI centuries), small drawing at a2 recto, numerous pointing hand, note cancelled from bb6 recto.[GABRIELLO, Bruno inc. Con tutta probabilità sono stati utilizzati terra di siena, terra di siena bruciata e biacca, terra d'ombra. Si riscontra un colore rosso probabilmente più recente databile al primo trentennio del 1500 grazie a una nota a X5recto.4to (210 x 150mm). Marca tipografica al verso dell'ultimo folio, iniziali minori non dipinte, in alcune carte iniziali dipinte in rosso, ad es. al fascicolo R, marginalia, lettere-guida, occhiello a 1 recto, colophon a hh10 verso, scrittura gotica, 51 linee di testo su due colonne come segue (1-4)8 a-[s lunga]8 s-z8 [et]8 [con]8 [rum]8 A-Z8 aa-gg8 hh10 AA-DD8 EE4 (mancante deI fascicoli (5-8)8, a10 e delle carte g6, V7, da AA la rifilatura intacca il testo nella parte superiore, alcune gore brune ai margini, lievi fioriture, bruniture, qualche macchia, lievi segni di tarlo ai margini delle carte a contatto con i piatti, alcuni volti dei personaggi delle xilografie sono scuriti, forse a causa del componente ferroso della terra di siena bruciata e del piombo della biacca). Piatti in cartone finto-legno e dorso in pelle bordeaux con tre nervi, probabilmente a imitazione della legatura originale (leggermente abrasa, segni di tarlo, sfregature più evidenti al dorso e alle cuffie). Provenienza: numerose note manoscritte di cui una rilevante a 1 verso, di diverse mani (secoli XV-XVI), piccolo disegno a a2 recto, numerose maniculae, nota erasa a bb6 recto.
