JAPANESE IMARI PORCELAIN ARTICLES, LOT OF FIVE, comprising one bowl and four dishes, all with lobed rims, having polychrome designs. Unmarked. Second half 19th/early 20th century. 6 1/8" to 9 3/4" D.
Two undamaged, large bowl with several small chips and flakes to interior of rim, one dish with one hairline off rim. One dish with two small flakes on rim from manufacturing covered with glaze.
Provenance: De-accessioned from the Reeves Collection, Washington and Lee University, and sold to benefit the Acquisitions Fund for all of the material.
