LARGE ANTIQUE CINNABAR LIDDED BOX:
Large Cinnabar lidded box carved all over. A large landscape scene is on the top with diapered patterns behind the scene with a village scene in the foreground with houses, trees, and mountains. People are carrying a large plant, there's a fisherman with his pole, and various other people doing their daily tasks. The sides of the box has peonies, leaves, and tendrils. The foot has a meander border. Age appropriate craquelure on the bottom in the black lacquer. The bottom has an incised six character mark.
