Original World War Two large format United Stated Army Signal Corps Naval photographs.
Photographs of warships and soldier's stationed in Sicily.
Collection of six black and white photographs.
Dimension: 14"x 11".
Collection of Lucifer Guarnier (American, 1914-2007) Member of the Army Signal Corps Animation Division.
Many of these photographs were published and created for documentary films.
Condition: good original estate condition.
Provenance: private estate.
*Army Pictorial Service-Army Signal Corps was created by General George C. Marshall to produce films for the training, indoctrination and entertainment of the American forces and their Allies.

*Included a photograph of the working film crew from the Army Pictorial Service.

*Photographed and stored in a plastic sleeve.

Lucifer (Lu) was associated with the Golden Age of Hollywood Cartoons. He animated cartoons, films and directed TV shows. These photographs were taken during his time he served with the Army Signal Corps Animation Division for documentary films and publications.
