Description
One tan straw having black underbrim decorated with a ring of orange ostrich feathers, wired net and needle lace ornament and orange shaded aigrette, velvet and silk lining, photographed in "The Woman in Fashion" by Doris Langley Moore, worn by Beatrice Lillie, tag indicates purchased from Doris Langley Moore. 16 x 15 1/2 x 7 1/2. (Aigrette is separated from hat, very minor browning to lace). One natural leghorn with large crown and turned-up brim covered in a wide band of changeable rose-pink taffeta with oversized bow folded at the back and decorated with a cluster of cherries, inside crown having black velvet band and cream silk lining. Label "Marshall Field & Co." 19 1/2 x 17 x 4 1/2. (Minor foliage losses to cherries). Very good-excellent.
