Description
2-piece dotted eggshell silk lightly brocaded with floral sprigs in pastel hues, back-lacing long sleeveless bodice having ruched chiffon over pink silk neck insert, armhole trim and hem, trained skirt gathered at the back, stiffened underskirt with pleated hem band edged in lace. B-32, W-22, L 42-53. (Minor stains to back of train, tears to chiffon, lace torn). Matching embroidered silk pumps with bow vamp, label "Marshall and Willats Oxford Street" 10 inches with 1 3/4 inch Louis heel (some wear and soil). Together with two pieces matching silk and chiffon, probably from a back bow or streamers. DLM tag indicates Doris purchased for Helen at Sotheby's 23 April 1965. Shoes good, dress very good.
