Description

Brown cashmere decorated allover with brown silk soutache and metallic cord in a foliate pattern with scrolls, silk lining. Label "Dieulafait & E. Bouclier", DLM tag notes, "Early specimen of label". DLM acquired these garments from M. Deane by way of Mrs. Cook (niece of Harriet Giltrap) who was given them/inherited them from Giltrap, dresser to Queen Alexandra. L-25. (Some scattered small holes and fairly large moth holes at hems) good.
