BOOKS: Large Lot Antique Music Leather Bindings, Large lot of antique sheet music for classical pieces and composers, including 7 beautiful blue-cloth folding boxes,12 x 15 inches. Three of the boxes contain loose music and softcover bound books of music, primarily for harp, some with inscriptions to Huguette Clark signed by noted harpist Marcel Granjany. In the remaining boxes and separately, there are approximately 26 leather-bound volumes of music, much of it for harp. Most have "A. E. Clark" stamped in gold on the front, and one "Anna Clark"

Notes/Literature: Huguette Marcelle Clark (1906-2011) was an heiress and philanthropist, who became well known again late in life as a recluse, living in a hospital for more than 20 years while her mansions remained empty. She was an accomplished artist and musician, having studied under famous portrait painter Tadeusz Styka, and her paintings were exhibited at the Corcoran Gallery, Washington in 1925
