Description
Isidor Margoles (1910-1995) signed lithograph from the estate of Theodore Wahl. Wahl created and printed lithographs at the artist's colony in Woodstock, NY, as well as in New York City, where he was head of lithographic printing for the WPA. Signed in pencil 'Isidor Margoles' lower right. Titled in pencil "Day's Work Done #2" lower left. Inscribed in pencil "To Theodore Wahl" lower center. Measures 9.25" x 12.75" image size and 11 1/4" x 17 3/8" sheet size. Image is in excellent condition, sheet has some rippling right edge. Unframed, loose and not mounted or glued down. Stored unframed and provenance provided by Amity Art Foundation. Provenance: Estate of Theodore Wahl, recently Amity Art Foundation Collection.
