**First Time At Auction**
Egypt, Late Dynastic to Ptolemaic period, ca. 664 to 30 BCE. A petite standing ushabti formed from blue-green faience. Depicted in mummiform atop an integral plinth, this figure wears a tripartite wig and holds a crook and flail in both hands. The front of his torso is adorned with a T-bar of illegible hieroglyphs, and areas of the body and face bear a dark-brown, age-related discoloration. A fine example from the later eras of Egyptian dynasticism. Size: 3.375" H (8.6 cm).

Condition
Expected age-commensurate surface wear, small ancient loss to tip of foot, fading to facial features and hieroglyphs, with discoloration across majority of figure, otherwise very good. Small drill hole in back. Nice earthen and mineral deposits throughout.
