Description
**First Time At Auction**

Egypt, Late Dynastic to Ptolemaic period, ca. 664 to 30 BCE. A petite standing ushabti formed from blue-green faience. Depicted in mummiform atop an integral plinth, this figure wears a tripartite wig and holds a crook and flail in both hands. The front of his torso is adorned with a T-bar of illegible hieroglyphs, and areas of the body and face bear a dark-brown, age-related discoloration. A fine example from the later eras of Egyptian dynasticism. Size: 3.375" H (8.6 cm).
