Description
The collector of this object describes it as a carved wood (pine) likeness of Boudica, the British Celtic Queen who, "who led an uprising against the occupying forces of the Roman Empire in AD 60 or 61, and died shortly after its failure" and attributes this as a decoration from a fairground carousel by F. Savage and Co Carousel of Kings Lynn England, circa 1900.
