From the Tung Chih Period of the Chinese Ching Dynasty (1862-1875) here we have an antique porcelain parrot said to be a symbol of good fortune and protection over women in the home. It stands 9" tall and has small defects as a well traveled antique should including nicks, chips and discoloring. This is to be expected. This piece comes with a certification of antiquity.
