Greece, Hellenistic period, ca. 4th century BCE. An interesting form of a kantharos, a deep vessel with two ovoid handles that have almost-zoomorphic-style thumb spurs and a stemmed foot. The body has a wide, extended rim and steps outward abruptly at its base. Overall glazed black; possibly from Boeotia. Size: 5.9" L x 4.05" W x 2.7" H (15 cm x 10.3 cm x 6.9 cm)
