Having brilliantly carved and pierced broken arch pediment above carved freeze leading to two glazed doors having handsomely carved mullions which open to mirrored back and two adjustable shelves continuing down to figured flame mahogany fall front writing surface which opens to very handsomely carved interior having pigeon holes and drawers with prospect door at center all above four slightly graduated drawers which have excellent period hardware all resting atop handsomely carved acanthus feet. The top having some reconstruction and the crown with some professional restoration. The top is possibly 19th century; however, could possibly be a bit earlier as it shows good wear and age.
