Thermolumineszenz-Altersbestimmung: 600 Jahre (+/-20 %).

Durch Sand-Verwehungen im Nordwesten von Niamey, der Hauptstadt des Landes Niger, kamen solche phallischen Terrakotta an die Oberfläche, die einer unbekannten, nach dem Fundort benannten Kultur zugeordnet werden.

Die hohlen Behälter aus Terrakotta wurden offensichtlich mit der Öffnung nach unten eingegraben, und enthielten verschiedentlich Beigaben.
