**First Time At Auction**

Africa, Ethiopia, ca. early to mid 20th century CE. A personal-sized steel cross with elaborate lattice work designs and multiple smaller crosses along the peripheries. A thin and solid handle, with incised cross-hatch and swirled designs, holds both the larger top and smaller bottom portions within slotted fittings. The bottom section displays similar lattice-worked patterns as the top portion with a stylized braided cross at the terminal. Size: 3.875" W x 9.9" H (9.8 cm x 25.1 cm).
