18th/19th C. Chinese HuangHuaLi painting table. Constructed from a rectangular top flat panel above the waisted, beaded, and pierced in ruyi motif apron, further down to ruyi motif spandrel surmounted to four cylindrical straight legs. The HuangHuaLi wood displays golden-brown color with translucent shimmering surface and abstractly figured patterns appearing like ghost faces.
