Stunning Chinese Huanghuali Altar table.  The rectangular top with a framed center slab of Huanghuali.  A carved band runs the perimeter of the table just below the top which is preceded by a handle-bar shaped apron that connects to each post. A double ring ornamentation connects the doweled apron to the underside of the table-top. The legs are angular in shape and taper outwards ever-so-slightly until they reach the ground where they connect to a rectangular foot base. Very sturdy ancient construction with perfectly joined mortise and tenon.   The wood has a translucent glistening surface with natural patterns that please the eye. Some grain structures may be likened to the shape of ghost faces.

Dimensions: 33-3/8" H x 63" L x 17-1/2" D

Over all in Excellent condition, with normal anomalies in nature, natural wood imperfection, sign of stressed surface, minor scratch & dent; Normal consider ages and wears.
