Description
CHINA, CIRCA 1800 A Chinese export American armorial porcelain plate. The shallow plate sits on a finely ground foot subtly flaring to a wide rim. The plate is sepia decorated with a center crest of an American eagle with shield clutching arrows and a branch over a radiant sunburst with stars surrounded by a meandered blue and sepia broken line. The rim is sepia decorated with a ribbed linear pattern with blue dots. The plate retains its original David Overall Chinese Export paper label on the underside.
