Description
Important and ultra rare 1816 The Cliosophic Society, 14kt yellow gold, and iron rectangular honorary key. The obverse: (hand engraved) DATUM A SOC CLIO COL N CAES NO KAL OCT MDCCCXVI, the reverse: At the top a band of cipher, over a circular temple with eight columns, domed roof, radiant shafts of light, all over a dirt mound. Furthermore decorated with a patterned and aesthetic border. The bail loop which rotates 360 degrees is recessed and fitted in to the rectangular key.
