This is the Hogarth Press first printing, 1938, of Virginia Woolf's essays on war, pacifism, feminism, etc., titled "Three Guineas" (329 pages). The yellow cloth cover is scuffed but secure, with a straight and securely attached spine, and with no looseness to the front or back boards. The gilt lettering is clearly legible. The sunned/tanned front end page has the most notable stain. There are few stains, none that are significant, throughout the book. All the text, and the five illustrations, are clean and unfaded. There are no stamps or attachments, no writing or notations. The binding is secure, with no loose or missing pages. The accompanying photos are accurate reflections of the book conditions.
