On the reverse side of the title page, his handwritten signature: "Ani Ha'Tza'ir Ya'akov Abuhatzeira".
An additional signature on the first leaf: "… Yitachak Abuhatzeira" (maybe the signature of the Baba Khaki, his grandson). Additional signatures and inscriptions by important rabbis of Morocco.
Rabbi Ya'akov Abuhatzeira (1806-1880) was a great Torah and Kabbala genius. A leading rabbi of the North African Jews, rabbi and Av Beit Din of Tafilalt and one of the leading Poskim of Morocco.he was known as a wonder-worker. He died on his way to the Land of Israel and is buried in Egypt. His grandson was the "Baba Sali".
