French, mid to late 19th century with 20th century modifications. A pair of Old Paris porcelain urns converted to table lamps, each with a tapering neck, wide shoulder, and footed base, enameled in green, with a gilded egg and dart border, and gilded swagged rope handles, painted with four landscape roundels to the front and backs of the necks and bodies, each depicting a classical scene and surrounded by a foliated gilt border, resting on a tiered, squared, and fluted base. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height (to fixture) 22.25", diameter 6.25".

Wear commensurate with age and use. Repaired cracks to foot of one, with chips to feet of both with some inpainting and repairs. Dust, accretions, and residue. Require rewiring.
